| With the exception of Poetry Reciting the age limit for children's competitions is 16 years and under. The age limit for Poetry Reciting is 12 years and under. Entry into the children's section does not debar a competitor from entering senior competitions. |

| The Dick Cowan Memorial Quaich | Awarded to the highest scoring previous winner in the Open Singing Competitions. |
| The Robert Scott Memorial Shield | Awarded to the competitor (aged 16 years or under) with the highest points scored in any class. |
| The Tommy Lamb Memorial Trophy | Awarded to the competitor (aged 16 years or under) with the highest points gained in the Accordion Classes. |
| The E & L Trophy | Awarded for the highest total score gained by any competitor living in the Eskdale and Liddesdale area. |
| The Bill & Jean Tait Challenge Shield | Awarded for the highest total score gained by any competitor aged 12 years or under. |
